The night before My 5 year old daughter Jessica, was to begin taking swimming lessons at Seal Swim School, I went over with her again and again how proud of her I was for giving something so "frightening" a try. With all she had been through, this was going to be another tough hurdle for my little trooper.

You see; until recently when she was cleared by her head/neck surgeon, she had never been allowed to go under water for fear of infection. This restriction instilled a tremendous fear in her. I knew one thing; this was going to be hard work for her and harder work for any instructor brave enough to try to help her conquer her fears! That night, I fell asleep with tears in my eyes as well.

The first day came and from the moment we walked through the door at Seal Swim School we couldn't help but note that the staff was compassionate and caring.

You don't go to many businesses where the owner offers a shoulder and advice to a teary eyed mommy.

Nothing could have prepared me for the enormous joy in my heart when at 3 weeks into her session, my daughter was swimming! That's right.... SWIMMING! And now, I just can't get her to stop! She's diving for rings, using different swim strokes, making up her own water games and her confidence level is sky high. I wasted no time in enrolling her into the next session long before she had even completed her 1st session.

As for me, I cannot and will not stop talking about my faith in Seal Swim School. Please accept my most sincere thanks to: Therese the owner /instructor, you were very supportive and really listened to us and you placed Jessica exactly where she should have been. Maria, who impressed us the first time we walked through the door with her personal touch, patience and professionalism. Most of all, I would like to thank Ms. Tiffanie, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for your kindness, gentleness and encouragement you gave to Jessica. You have given her a wonderful gift, a true love of swimming and a deep respect for water safety.

Make no mistake about this, you made the difference! I could not be more impressed with this school. If you are looking for a swim school, for your precious children, do yourself a favor and look no further. This small investment of your time will ensure your child a lifetime love of our Florida lifestyle.
